Do mods work with online or lan multiplayer? - posted in General Divinity: Original Sin 2 Discussion: Couldnt find any answers on the web, just more people asking the same question without answers. So I was hoping someone tested multiplayer with mods or knows if it can be done.

I can tell you how to do it.Download the file from nexus. This should be a.zip or.7z. You then need to extract this download (you'll need a program like winrar or 7zip to extract a.7z file). Once you have extracted the file, place (or copy) the.pak into your DocumentsLarian StudiosDivinity Original Sin 2Mods folder (or just extract it directly to there). Now when you launch the game it should appear in the list of mods and you can order it and activate/deactivate it as you like.There are a couple of mods that can't be installed this way (the achievement enabler comes to mind) but they'll have specific instructions on the mod page.Edit: Because people can no longer reply to this thread and I guess it shows up when people are googling for help I'll add a bit about native mods.
