Metal Gear Rising Remastered Ps4

When footage of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance first started coming out, fans of the Metal Gear series were understandably upset and confused. The reins had been handed over to Platinum Games (a studio known for over-the-top action), gone was any hint of stealth whatsoever, and main protagonist Solid Snake was nowhere to be seen.Recently, however, series creator Hideo Kojima has come out and stated that he was 'not yet finished' with Solid Snake, giving hopes to fans everywhere.Kojima Keeps Snake AliveMany fans of the Metal Gear games are not fans of the hero of Revengeance, Raiden, to say the least. When he first appeared as a central character in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, pretty much taking the place of Solid Snake, the fans by and large were not pleased. So to see him come into another very central role in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and not only displace the main character, Solid Snake, but to actually displace the entire genre of the game was heartbreaking for a lot of fans.Thankfully, Hideo Kojima recently came out and restored the fans' hope, saying, 'There will be a Metal Gear Solid 5 with the new FOX engine, but what we've shown was not gameplay, or anything like that. It was only a demo that we had developed internally and released because the lighting and and interactions with the environment had fooled everyone. 'He also added, 'About Metal Gear Solid 5 I can tell you two things. There will be much question of infiltration, espionage, and convincing people to give you 'a favor' like in the last Metal Gear Solid.I liked the idea of social interactions in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but we will see.'

Integrating ideas from Deus Ex: Human Revolution? Sounds like a good idea to me.He also stated, 'Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance never claimed to be Metal Gear Solid. This is not a game about our beloved Solid Snake. It is a spinoff that tries something different. We have not yet finished with Solid Snake, despite the fact that I wanted him to let him die at the end of Guns of the Patriots.'

So there you have it. We'll have a Metal Gear Solid 5 and it will have Solid Snake.Metal Gear on the PS4For my two cents, I'd like to see the next Metal Gear Solid on the PS4.

Why not a launch title for that matter? Metal Gear has long been a flagship title and it would make for a great pairing.Undoubtedly, next-gen tech would make the FOX engine look that much better.

Ps4

Obviously, it's going to look great if you take into account what we've seen from the FOX engine so far, but on the PlayStation 4 it would be unbelievable.Whenever the PS4 comes out, it's going to need some strong launch titles and anything Metal Gear would do the trick. Not that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance won't do well, but Metal Gear Solid 5 will be a blockbuster and it will be another representative that this flagship franchise needs.

Seriously, some times you got to just stop. Just stop man. I have been a long time MGS fan, absolutely the best Video Game series on the planet, right up there with The Legend of Zelda. The thing about MGS series is that there is such a deep and romantic storyline, one that can only be truly captured by playing them through, passionately and respectfully. From Metal Gear Solid, to Sons of Liberty, to Snake Eater, and then FINALLY (key word) FINALLY MGS4: Guns of the Patriots. So when you take this beautiful piece of artwork: Guns of the Patriots, and bring a wonderful epic series to a climactic, brilliant, EPIC ending - you leave it there, and say WOW, we did great. You know what you're doing, when you force Snake back into the picture? You do the same thing George Lucas has done with the EPIC story of Star Wars - you sell out.I was all for your Raiden spin off, I didn't have a desire to play it, but I was glad you were taking the franchise in a completely different direction. Now, here we go again, huh? Is THIS Snakes final mission?

Is it a flash back? A flash forward?

Metal Gear Solid Remake Ps4

Just like 'the next 3 star wars' movies, a true fan will not recognize this disrespectful piece of 'revival'.That's just my first impression though.Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, - 21:27.

Remember when an image of a '2' in what appeared to be the font flashed on screen at the 2015 Taipei Game Show? At the time, sleuths instantly made the connection that an almost subliminal Metal Gear-related graphic would be just the kind of clever 'hidden reveal' that Hideo Kojima and his team might use to announce a MGR sequel. However, denied that it had teased any game during the show.Rumors still swirl, but perhaps it wasn’t a hint or an announcement or even a tease.

Perhaps it was just artwork to celebrate the second anniversary of the original game’s release? In a blog post titled, PlatinumGames showed off official artwork the company had created (by studio artist Yong-Hee Cho) to celebrate the worldwide release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in February of 2013. This illustration shows off Raiden armed to battle Dwarf Gekko (and to hack up some melons,) but what has caught attention most of all is the prominent '2' that Raiden is leaning against.

Once again, we find a '2' in the Metal Gear Rising font. The caption for the image reads “Congratulations on the second anniversary. After two-years, I wonder what Raiden is up to now?”Which begs the question, what is Raiden up to now? For now, all he is doing is celebrating two years of being the star of his own videogame. Developer PlatinumGames and producer Kojima Productions have actively promoted MGR over these two years, with additional DLC and social media posts and other releases (a PC version of the game was released in January of 2014.) It would not unusual for the team to celebrate this second anniversary. And since they're a cheeky group of designers, it would be clever (if cruel) to take this opportunity and play off the rumors while celebrating a milestone. But does the new '2' just stand for '2nd Anniversary,', or could it mean 'Metal Gear Rising 2', as the rumor mill insists? The connection is clear, but not exactly conclusive.

Both '2' graphics share a similar font and metallic design. The graphics, however, do not match up exactly, with shading, highlights and texturing all quite different between the graphics; although the fonts in each '2' are similar, the cuts in the curves are not exactly alike either. And even if the Second Anniversary Illustration art is meant to comment on the mystery '2' in the Taipei PlayStation 4 sizzle reel, it is by no means a confirmation of a new game; it could simply be a gag by the designers. It could also be a pure coincidental use of a similar font (and it would be PlatinumGames' font to use, of course; Sony has yet to explain how that '2' got in its video in the first place.)PlatinumGames' own Hideki Kamiya made matters no more or less clear with this tweet on his personal feed. 2!?— 神谷英樹 Hideki Kamiya (@PGkamiya)You can read all about the Taipei Game Show image which confused fans the world over,.For those yet to play it, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an action-oriented Metal Gear spin-off which thrusts cyber-ninja Raiden into the limelight.
