I discovered that my old Microtek scanner will work with OS-X, so I downloaded the requisite ScanMaker 5 v.7.1 1 software from Microtek. It successfully installed, according to my MBP. Being new to my MBP, I looked in all my MBP books and my Snow Leopard books and I can't find how to locate my program. It said it installed on MAC OS, but when I open MAC OS in Finder, Scan Maker is not there.
