Breakables are, well, things you can break! Usually breakables are a bunch of vases / crates.

With For Honor now on store shelves, this guide details some of the fastest ways to earn the in-game currency known as steel so players can start purchasing and customizing new gear.

You don’t need to destroy them all to “collect” a breakable. Destroying just one of the bunch counts. Observables are things you can look at — watch for an “eye” icon as you look around the environment. If you focus your camera on it, an L1 / LB will appear.

Observable #1: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Past the drawbridge, look in the center of the blasted battlefield for a burning pyre. Breakable #1: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – To the right of the first observable, go up the steps onto the stone platform and look right again to spot this bunch of pots.

Breakable #2: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Continue up into the tower on the stone platform with the first set of breakables. Inside, look in the back right corner. Observable #2: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Step out onto the wall from the tower interior and immediately look right to check out the Viking horde. Breakable #3: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Move toward the balcony where archers are firing, just across the wall you crossed. Right next to the catapult power-up. Breakable #4: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – From the archers, take the stairs down, hugging the rocky edge of the map on the right, past the scaffolding tower.

Beyond a soldier skirmish, there’s another bunch of pots. Observable #3: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Go down to the main skirmish area. Soldiers from both sides are clashing in the muddy zone beneath a large Eagle statue. Observe the statue. Observable #4: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Check out the huge battering ram near the doors, opposite the Eagle statue. Breakable #5: Capture the Citadel (2/3 Zones Captured) – Enter the open doorway in the fortress walls to the right of the battering ram.

Observable #1: Lead Your Troops Into Valkenheim – After completing the tutorial to learn a new move, check out the hill to the left past the skull gate. There’s a grim decoration you can view. Observable #2: Lead Your Troops Into Valkenheim – Instead of looking at the “decoration” on the left, look for the huge statue on the right.

Observable #3: Lead Your Troops Into Valkenheim – Push forward to observe the ruins of the wooden hut on the right. Observable #4: Kill the Catapult Crews – Before rushing up to murder the crews, look for a Viking horn.

Breakable #1: Kill the Catapult Crews – Take the path down past the horn, and look on the left before crossing the frozen river. There’s a bunch of fragile pots to smash.

Observable #5: Kill the Catapult Crews – Cross the cracked ice and look for the giant masked Viking statue head next to the fortified hill. Breakable #2: Kill the Catapult Crews – After killing the first crew, look in the corner to the left of the Catapult to spot a group of pots next to the stairs. Breakable #3: Regroup With Your Army – Outside the massive gates to the Viking stronghold, you’ll cross a hill with the broken parts of a Viking ship.

Before reaching the makeshift bridges made out of wood, you’ll encounter three pots. Observable #6: Regroup With Your Army – Look up at the massive bridge line fired by the Knights and stuck into the Viking gates. It’s hard to miss. Observable #7: Reach the Courtyard – Look at the ruined catapult on the right of the path toward the gates. Observable #8: Reach the Courtyard – In the same area, look left and spy on the NPC standing near the red Viking emblem stone.

Observable #9: Reach the Courtyard – Lookup at the Viking stronghold’s raised drawbridge to hear more about the Vikings. Observable #10: Reach the Courtyard – Launch the bridge to scale the Viking gates. Part of the way up the bridge, look left and examine the giant statue with a burning flame in its hands.Chapter 1.5 – Breakables / Observables Locations. Observable #1: Reach the Elevator Outpost – From the forest path, you’ll step down onto a circular stone with a fire in the center, Turn right and get a good view of the statue.

For Honor Realistic Mode Rewards

Observable #2: Reach the Elevator Outpost – Down the hill from the statue, look near the ledge for a dead body. Observable #3: Reach the Elevator Outpost – Continue along the zig-zag ramp to the frozen water below. Look at the boats moored on a stone. Observable #4: Reach the Elevator Outpost – Just past the boats, there’s a hanging corpse on the nearby tree. Observable #5: Reach the Elevator Outpost – While looking at the corpse, turn your camera left and examine the dragon-headed front piece of the ruined Viking ship.

Breakable #1: Reach the Elevator Outpost – In the area by the wrecked ship, there are a handful of Viking guards.
