I know this quite a old Discussion, but it needed to be answered.You can swap engine sounds only if you have a program that can pack and unpack.bfs files. Here is what you need: Once you download that, go to this file location.C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFlatOut Ultimate CarnageYou should see a 'data.bfs' file ( Make a backup of that file!), open up the.zip file you just downloaded and run 'BFS3packsmartgui.exe'. A little white window that has a ghost on it should now appear. Right click on it and make sure its set for Ultimate Carnage.

If everything checks out, drag the aforementioned 'data.bfs' file into the window. Another small window should pop up, confirm the location of where you want the files to be dumped and wait.After a while, another folder called 'data' should have appeared. I guess, they are just leftovers having no functions and were later scripted in the final xbox build because they were simply cut.On the other hand, there is a EnterMenu('menu pressbuildtrackselection'), which, according to the code, let's you select tracks and I can't seem to find it in-game.As I can see, the magic starts when the game loads 'PressBuild.bed' in 'main.bed', but I have no experience in modding FO and I can't say for sure. I think, we can even enable 'Focus Test' build by simply removing '-//' in (-//'FocusTest.bed',) in the 'main.bed'.What is more interesting, there is a 'devmenu.bed' file, which is not listed in 'main.bed'.

I think it has something to do with entermenu('menudev') thing I talked about. Or it was used in 'menudebug.bed', which is now blank.UPDATEI was right, it IS possible to enable 'Focus Test' build.

Nothing really special about it as it turns the game into a demo.Also, managed to load 'testmenu'It has two test menus with two items; 'hello' + 'instant action' and 'Goodbuy' + 'instant action'.Only testmenu 'one' works. Both hello and goodbuy items should swap these menus with one another, but it doesn't work.P.S.

To make it work I used Xbox files in the PC version.I guess, pressmenu can be brought back if you change 'pressmenutracks' to 'menupressbuildtrackselection' in 'mainmenu.bed'. Update, it doesn't work on PC nor on Xbox.
